What storage unit sizes are available?
We offer sizes from 5 x 10 to 30 x 30. We also offer temperature controlled storage as well as standard units.

Do I need an appointment?
No, just stop into the main office during normal business hours and we will be happy to assist you.

What if, I need more space after I move in?
If after renting, you decide to either increase or decrease sizes, or change units, we can transfer you to another unit.

What must I bring with me when I rent a space?
You will need identification with a signature on it, such as your driver's license, and a phone number where we can reach you if needed. You will be required to sign a Rental Agreement which spells out many of the items discussed here.

When can I access my unit?
You can get to your unit seven days a week, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

What are your office hours?
Our office is open and staffed typically from 9 am-5 pm Monday through Friday, Saturday 9 am-1 pm. Customers have access to their units 365 days a year.

Does anyone else have access to my unit?
No, unless YOU choose to give someone else access (see below) and the key to your lock.

Does your facility accommodate large moving trucks and tractor-trailers?
Most of our facilities can handle even the largest tractor-trailers.

Do you sell boxes and packing supplies?
Yes. We offer a variety of boxes and moving supplies to meet all your packing needs. The quality of the cardboard boxes is excellent and they will last a long time.

Is there anything I need to do to prepare my unit before I move my belongings into it?
No, your unit will be clean and ready for you on the day you move in.

Are there any items I can't store?
Common sense and state laws determine what may be stored. You alone control access to your storage space. Items you should never store include, but are not limited to, live animals, perishables, liquids, explosives, flammables, paint and cleaners. Remember to always drain fuel from gasoline engines before storing. Throw away anything that could possibly cause a fire. Do not store food or any item that could attract rodents or pests. You are also not allowed to store yourself- your unit cannot be used as an apartment or place to stay.

How do I rent a unit?
Simply select the location most convenient for you, choose the size unit you want, and visit the office during normal business hours.

Is there a minimum or maximum length of time I can store things?
Our minimum contract is for one month. Your contract then runs month to month automatically self-renewing every month. There is no limit on how long you can rent your space.

What about insurance?
We suggest you get insurance for peace of mind, just as you normally would for your house or business possessions. Also, check your homeowners or renters insurance policy. Many policies cover your goods while in storage, but not all.

Do you accept credit cards?
Yes. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

Do you offer automatic credit card billing?
Yes, we can automatically bill your credit card on the first of each month.

Do I have to start renting at the beginning of a month?
No. You may start renting on any day of the month. You'll be charged for the days remaining in that month. After that you pay on or before the 7th of each month.

When is my rent due?
Your rent is due on or before the 7th of each month.

How can I make my monthly payments?
You can sign up for automatic credit card billing, mail a check or money order, or pay in person at the office.

Can I make a payment by credit card over the phone?
Yes, you may make a payment using a credit card by telephone, but there is a small fee.

Will I receive a monthly statement?
Yes, you may choose to receive monthly mailed or electronic statements.

When do you apply a late charge?
A late charge is assessed if payment is not made by the 7th of the month. Please contact your site for details. To avoid any late charge or fees, you can arrange to set-up automatic billing to your credit card where the rent will be charged on the first day of the month.

Temperature controlled


Available at both of our 3rd Avenue locations in Fruitport! Temperature Controlled storage units are heated in the cold weather, and cooled in hot weather to protect your valuables from the changes in extreme weather.
